Leading the way in automotive aftermarket solutions, ISN Europe has announced the appointment of Mark Ost as its new Managing Director. Mark will oversee the company's established Garage Equipment and Tools divisions, marking an exciting new chapter for the organisation.
With extensive experience in the tools and equipment sector, Mark's appointment is hailed by the US-owned company as "a perfect fit," positioning ISN Europe for its next phase of growth and development.
James Boon, who has served as Interim Managing Director since 2022, described the appointment as both significant and indicative of ISN Europe's ambitious plans. "The search for the right person to take the business to the next level has been extensive and, certainly from my perspective, unprecedented in terms of the time and consideration we have given," said James. "I consider this appointment to be a landmark for ISN Europe. It should be seen by our employees, customers, and the industry as significant and compelling, simply because it encapsulates our plans and goals."
ISN Europe operates through two primary divisions: ISN Garage Assist, which supplies garage equipment to independents, main dealers, and tyre chains, and ToolTruck, which distributes a wide range of tools and diagnostic products via a network of dealers. In recent years, these two entities have become increasingly synergised, offering customers a broader portfolio while maintaining their unique identities.
Mark Ost will report directly to the US-based CEO and Board of Directors. Speaking on the appointment, CEO Mark Majeske said, "I am excited to have Mark on board. We are confident his unique, combined experience with both the tools and equipment sectors will be exactly what we need to accelerate our overall success in Europe."
James Boon, who founded the original Hofmann Megaplan UK business in 2004 acquired by Florida-based ISN in 2017, will continue to play a vital role as an ambassador and advisor to the business.
This strategic appointment underscores ISN Europe's commitment to growth and innovation within the automotive aftermarket industry. With Mark Ost at the helm, the company is well-positioned to expand its market presence and continue delivering exceptional solutions to its customers.
