Fast Touch Technology in a space-saving format!
When we started work on designing the next generation of wheel balancer for mobile use, we had 2 main criteria...
1. Space - Arguably the first priority for anybody offering mobile fitting. How could we design a balancer that caters for all the varying vans and requirements we have learned about in our years supplying mobile operators, taking into account space, operation, flexibility and ergonomics for the user?
2. Features - A mobile tyre operation deals with the same rims and tyres faced within a workshop situation, so why should the capability and performance have to be compromised just because it is confined to a small working area?
Well with the FT Lite, we have absolutely nailed it. Our ingenious R&D team have managed to combine the unparalleled technology of our premium megaspin Fast Touch wheel balancer, with the most versatile, compact and lightweight high-performance machine ever designed! 3D data entry is achieved using a combination of laser and patented software, making this as fully automatic as it gets, and the spin cycle is made at the touch of a button (yes, it is FULLY MOTORISED!).
A 'swivel' display means that the operator can use the balancer in a position that best suits the positioning of the machine in the van which, combined with the option to have it free-standing or bench-mounted, means the FT Lite really does accommodate every scenario for van layout.

FAST
Once the lasers have taken the rim data, simply press the 'Magic Button' to enter and you are ready to balance. No need to pull out a measuring gauge or enter any data manually.
ERGONOMIC
The elimination of a measuring gauge coupled with the swivel display means the operator can use this balancer in any position they choose - totally flexible and suitable for any vehicle or layout
VERSATILE
Available as a 240v machine (this balancer is good enough for any workshop, not just mobile!), or with optional 12v Inverter Pack, the megaspin FT Lite is available as just a balancing 'head' unit, complete with storage for cones and pliers, or with a cleverly designed plinth for freestanding installation. The plinth uses minimal footprint and offers additional storage.
The revolution in wheel balancing
Megaspin Fast Touch revolutionizes the wheel balancing experience through the innovative combination of a laser point and a line laser. Simply move the wheel and the lasers calculate distance and diameter of the rim, while the VIRTUAL SONAR measures its width, enabling the rapid and precise detection of all necessary parameters for wheel unbalance. After completion of the balancing cycle, the laser pointer also indicates the exact position for the application of adhesive weights inside the rim. Potential errors during weight placement are negated thanks to the electric brake, which locks the wheel in the correction position.
Virtual Sonar
Virtual Sonar is an innovation, which, in the absence of an actual sonar device, automatically measures rim width, reducing balancing time and avoiding operator errors caused by manual data entries.
One Weight Balancing
One Weight Balancing is automatically activated, when available, at the end of the spin, providing a single balance weight position instead of two. The laser pointer indicates the exact point where it is possible to balance the wheel minimizing both static and dynamic imbalance, using only one weight. OWB offers 30% time savings for 70% of wheels.
Automatic approach
Once the measuring spin is completed, the automatic approach system activates the electric brake to automatically stop the wheel at the point of balance weight application. Fine adjustments can be made by the operator. After the first weight has been applied, pressing “start” instructs the machine to move the wheel to the application position for the second weight.
Optional Configuration
The basic version of megaspin FastTouch Lite comprises a stand-alone unit which can be independently fixed to multiple rigid surfaces for the ultimate space saving balancing solution. It is also available with an optional ultra-compact baseplate, allowing for easy installation in workshops with limited space or in mobile fitting vans; 3 times more compact and up to 4 times lighter.
