OEM and Approved Equipment

It is very common for car and tyre manufacturers to endorse certain brands and specifications of garage equipment, in order to meet certain standards or guarantees of performance and capability.

These endorsements vary, and we see products or equipment manufacturers receive, 'approvals', 'accreditations', or even simple associations (a good example being equipment used in factory facilities, but the manufacturer may not have a policy of putting their name to favoured brands).
