‘Connected’ Equipment

In May 2021, Diesel Smoke Metres and Exhaust Gas Analysers became the next pieces of MOT Equipment to become ‘Connected’, following Roller Brake Testers (October 2019) and Decelerometers (February 2020). If you are purchasing new emissions test equipment, it must be ‘Connected’. OPA-100 Emissions Tester

The OPA-100s compact size and 12V DC power supply means it can be used as a portable tool in situations where this is necessary, held by its comfortable and ergonomic handle. This Opacimeter is used for diesel engines. The SmokeMeter module can be connected to the serial port of any PC and the OMNIBUS 800, the specific proprietary software, allows for the management of different vehicle’s diagnostic and maintenance operations.

AGS-200 Emissions Tester

The AGS-200 emissions tester analyses modules with infrared rays, to link up to a PCs serial port. Similar to the OPA-100 Emissions Tester, its small size and 12V DC power supply mean it can be used as a portable tool in situations where it is necessary.
